Three thousand miles, and then the country just runs out of road. I'm glad it does.

A road-trip travel journal
Two boys, one car, and the whole country in between.
The premise
A year ago, neither of us could've told you we'd end up here together, pointing a very over-packed car west. But here we are. This is the summer we drive from Ethan's hometown in Vermont, through Jacob's hometown in Minnesota, all the way to the California coast. Truly no real plan: one cooler wedged behind the seat and three thousand miles of country we've never seen. We're writing it all down as we go: the diner coffee, the wrong turns, the stops that wreck us a little and the ones that put us back together.
Pull up a seat. You can ride along.

Fresh entries, in our own words. (Jacob's run blue, Ethan's run warm brown — you'll learn to tell us apart.)
